This is a complete Rostra cruise control kit for the 1988-2011 Ford Ranger. Applicable to automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Kit includes vehicle specific wiring information as well as universal installation instructions. Wiring information for exact year and engine sizes listed below. Please call with any questions regarding this complete cruise control kit. Installation of the "optional" clutch disengagement switch is difficult and very time consuming. We would only recommend installing the clutch switch for the VERY experienced installers.

Instructions are to be read thoroughly and slowly

Works great! The instructions are sorta “busy”, but if you take your time and read it slowly and thoroughly you’ll have it installed before you know it. Plan on this being a weekend project. Space it out over a couple of days and it would be less stressful. I installed this in a total of 6 hours. Tested perfectly first time. Nothing in the manuals or instructions should be taken lightly. It’s all there for a reason. Worth every penny it costs to get cruise control on my old truck.

Cruise control worked great. A little minor tweaking on response time and it's dialed in. If you have no automotive mechanical or electrical experience, I would not recommend putting it in yourself, pay someone to install it. It seems to be a well thought out product and well made. Customer service in my experience was fantastic!
