Ford in their infinite wisdom didn't put cruise control on the Maverick trucks. This one works perfect so far and installation was fairly easy.
We purchased a Ford Maverick XL that did not have an option for cruise control. Ordering this product was simple, we had no issues finding a local installer, and the system works perfectly. We are installing this same unit on other trucks in our fleet that were ordered without cruise control, and could not be happier.
I needed to use the instruction sheets, YouTube channel and call
technical support to make everything work. A step-by-step upgrade to the instruction sheet would be very helpful.
Looks great. Operates well. My only concern is the lack of sensitivity when I apply the brakes. They "fight" the gas for a while, which is disconcerting. The brakes and gas seem to work against each other. Is there a way to make the brakes more sensitive to disengage the cruise control faster?
Just got this installed. So far, so good. Seems to work as designed.
